Corporate Event with Oscar^® Winner: Animated Film Show as a Creative Highlight

My Animated Film Show – a unique infotainment experience – combines award-winning animated films, including the Oscar®-winning Quest, with exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the art of animation.

This entertaining and inspiring program will captivate your audience – whether as a show act at a gala, as a creative interlude during a conference, or as a surprising highlight at an award ceremony.

The Animated Film Show offers maximum flexibility and can be adapted to a wide range of event formats:

• as short program segments to provide creative variety throughout the day,
• as a full-length show,
• or as a compact feature, for example with a film combined with a thematically relevant keynote or presentation.

An inspiring example of a successful event featuring my show is the Rotary District Conference 2024, including the Governor’s Evening at the Cineplex Cinema Baunatal.

The event combined formal program elements – such as reports, flagship projects, and the ceremonial handover of the Governor’s office – with creative program elements throughout the day and a special evening program.

In total, we presented six of my animated films during the conference, accompanied by interviews that explored the connections between the film topics and Rotary values.

Additionally, I showcased another six animated films as part of my Animated Film Show during the Governor’s Evening.

The cinema provided the perfect setting for speeches and film screenings.

Animation Show to Enhance the District Conference

Together with Dr. Heidemarie Krüger, President of District 2 in Northern Hesse and then-Governor of the Rotary District, as well as district reporter Claus Müller von der Grün, we selected films that perfectly matched Rotary’s social themes.

One example is my animated short film Old Super Lady, which humorously addresses the topic of “Random Acts of Kindness”. Dr. Krüger directly referenced this film and, to the delight of the audience, playfully entered the stage holding an inflatable airplane.

To conclude the program, we screened a social spot (Lebenshilfe Spot) I produced for Lebenshilfe e.V., focusing on diversity and solidarity.

Governor’s Evening: Animation Show as a Full-Length Highlight

During the Governor’s Evening, my animation art took center stage. I presented an extended special edition of my Animated Film Show featuring six films.

After each film, I offered exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into the creative process through making-of photos and video footage. I explained how initial ideas evolve into captivating, visually impressive stories.

Passion, creativity, and teamwork were the recurring themes throughout the evening.

Films presented included:

• Old Super Lady (social engagement)
• The Last Leaf (forest dieback)
• Weeds (urbanization & loss of nature)
• The Sausage Run (about meat consumption, lack of appreciation, and corruption)
• Quest (Oscar^®-winning animated film about a sand figure’s struggle for survival)
• Virtuos Virtuell (visual and narrative interpretation of music)

Here too, the program inspired awe and amazement: Alongside humorous moments, it sparked many thought-provoking discussions and lively conversations with the audience.

Many guests were deeply impressed to experience an Oscar^® winner up close.

With my strong passion for animated film and exclusive insights into the world of animation, I was able to inspire the audience in a lasting way.

A special highlight was the presentation of my Oscar^® statuette – an unforgettable moment for everyone in attendance.
