With my creative workshop for companies and my entertaining Animated Film Show, their team event became the highlight of their anniversary celebration.
The creative corporate event took place at the NEUE DENKEREI in Kassel – including an interactive team-building workshop, a customized film program and a surprise guest with an Oscar®: me. The event sparked enthusiasm, strengthened team spirit, and left a lasting impression.
Animation & Team Spirit – The Workshop for Companies and Teams
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Medland, a company specializing in medical products, invited employees from all over Germany to an inspiring weekend in Kassel.
At the heart of the event was an interactive, art-based animation workshop – a Zoetrope Workshop that I specifically designed as a creative workshop for companies. Participants combined hands-on creative work with collaborative storytelling – a format that fosters team spirit, communication, and fresh ideas in a playful way.
A Place for Encounters – and for Ideas
The venue was the Neue Denkerei Kassel, a space dedicated to new thinking and collaborative work. The program was rounded off with highlights from my Animated Film Show – including my Oscar©-winning short film QUEST, presented live and with a touch of Hollywood.
From Film Festival to Company Anniversary – How It All Started

Impressed by the combination of infotainment, artistic quality, and humorous insights, he immediately knew this was the perfect fit for Medland’s anniversary celebration.
Kassel was chosen not only for its central location, but also because I recommended the ideal venue and provided suggestions for other parts of the program.
Creative Workshop for Companies – Tailored and Sustainable
The creative workshop for companies allowed participants to connect on equal footing through artistic collaboration – making it a perfect choice for internal events, company retreats, or incentive programs.
During the workshop, participants created one-second loop animations on paper strips, brought to life through a traditional zoetrope – analog, handmade, and full of life.
The topics were as individual as the participants themselves: from hobbies to a little animated figure knitting a scarf with the Medland logo.
This created a shared experience that revealed hidden talents, strengthened team spirit, and helped build new connections among employees from all across Germany.

The Oscar© Surprise – Up Close with Hollywood
The presentation of my animated films was met with great enthusiasm. But the biggest surprise came at the end:
I wasn’t just the workshop leader – I was also the creator of the Oscar©-winning film QUEST and had brought the original Oscar© statuette with me. For many, it was the first time seeing a real Oscar© from Hollywood up close.
