Ich freue mich sehr, dass das Kulturamt-Wiesbaden, die Caligari FilmB\u00fchne und das Trickfilm-Festival (Veranstalter: Filme im Schloss) diese Kooperation m\u00f6glich gemacht hat.<\/p>\n

150 interessierte G\u00e4ste kamen in das Caligari-Filmb\u00fchne in Wiesbaden und folgten meiner Infotainment-Show. Oscar\u00ae-Preistr\u00e4ger Thomas Stellmach pr\u00e4sentiert seine international preisgekr\u00f6nten Animationsfilme und gibt einen spannenden und unterhaltsamen Einblick in die Produktionsprozesse der Filme. Er erz\u00e4hlt \u00fcber das aufregende Leben eines Trickfilmk\u00fcnstlers, spricht \u00fcber seine Inspiration, \u00fcber wichtige Stationen seiner Karriere und \u00fcber seine Pl\u00e4ne in der Zukunft. Er erkl\u00e4rt die Tricks und die Techniken, mit denen die Filme gemacht wurden. Es werden Geschichten rund um die Filme, z.B. \u00fcber die Oscar\u00ae-Verleihung in Hollywood 1997 erz\u00e4hlt. Anhand von Zahlen und Fakten vermittelt Thomas Stellmach den Aufwand der Produktionen und geht auf die Herausforderungen ein, die diese Kunstform mit sich bringt. Das Filmprogramm wird durch Foto-Material und Making-of-Filme erg\u00e4nzt.<\/p>\n

Thomas Stellmach studierte Animation bei dem Trickfilmk\u00fcnstler Paul Driessen an der Kunsthochschule Kassel. Nach seinem Hochschulabschluss 1999 gr\u00fcndete er mit zwei Partnern das Trickstudio Lichthof Film & Animation in Kassel und produzierte bis 2008 animierte Werbespots. 2009 l\u00f6ste er sich von der Firma und konzentrierte sich auf seine freien k\u00fcnstlerischen Projekte. Er erhielt f\u00fcr seine Independent-Produktionen mehr als 100 internationale Auszeichnungen.<\/p>\n
