Thomas Stellmach – Biografie<\/h1>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=“.vc_custom_1754663942740{margin-top: 16px !important;margin-bottom: 32px !important;}“]Ich bin ein Oscar\u00a9<\/sup>-pr\u00e4mierter Trickfilmregisseur<\/strong> aus Kassel<\/strong>, spezialisiert auf k\u00fcnstlerische animierte Kurzfilme<\/strong> und Trickfilmworkshops <\/strong>bzw. Animationsworkshops<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Geboren 1965<\/strong> in Straubing<\/strong>, entdeckte ich schon fr\u00fch meine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr Malerei<\/strong>, Modellbau<\/strong> und Filmemachen<\/strong>. Als Jugendlicher wurde ich mehrfach mit nationalen Preisen<\/strong> in Kunstwettbewerben<\/strong> ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Die bahnbrechenden visuellen Effekte<\/strong> und das fantasievolle Storytelling<\/strong> der Star-Wars-Filme in den 1980er-Jahren weckten mein Interesse am Film<\/strong> \u2013 insbesondere an der Animation<\/strong>, die mir erlaubte, eigene Ideen visuell umzusetzen. 1982<\/strong> begann ich, eigene Stop-Motion-Filme<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0zu produzieren \u2013 noch bevor ich mein Studium an der Kunsthochschule Kassel<\/strong> bei Oscar\u00a9<\/sup>-Nominee Paul Driessen<\/a> <\/strong>aufnahm.<\/p>\n

W\u00e4hrend meines Studiums<\/strong> entstand 1996<\/strong> in Zusammenarbeit mit Tyron Montgomery<\/strong> der Stop-Motion-Kurzfilm QUEST<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0der 1997 mit dem Academy Award\u00a9<\/sup> f\u00fcr den besten animierten Kurzfilm<\/a> <\/strong>ausgezeichnet wurde.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nach meinem k\u00fcnstlerischen Diplom<\/strong> gr\u00fcndete ich 1999<\/strong> das Studio Lichthof \u2013 Film & Animation<\/strong> in Kassel<\/strong>. Gemeinsam mit meinem Team produzierte ich dort animierte Werbespots<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0f\u00fcr Werbeagenturen<\/strong>, das Fernsehen<\/strong> und Musiklabels<\/strong>. Heute liegt mein Fokus vollst\u00e4ndig auf unabh\u00e4ngigen k\u00fcnstlerischen Produktionen<\/strong>, Animationsworkshops<\/strong> und \u00f6ffentlichen Pr\u00e4sentationen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Seit den fr\u00fchen 1980er-Jahren<\/strong> produziere ich unabh\u00e4ngige animierte Kurzfilme<\/strong>, die auf Filmfestivals weltweit<\/strong> gezeigt und mit \u00fcber 150 internationalen Preisen<\/strong> ausgezeichnet wurden \u2013 sowohl im studentischen<\/strong> als auch im professionellen Bereich<\/strong>. Ich nutze eine Vielzahl von Animationstechniken<\/strong>, darunter klassischer 2D-Zeichentrick<\/strong>, Stop-Motion<\/strong>, Pixilation<\/strong>, 3D-Computeranimation<\/strong> und experimentelle Tuschanimation<\/strong>, um visuell eigenst\u00e4ndige und ausdrucksstarke Geschichten<\/strong> zu erz\u00e4hlen.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Neben meiner k\u00fcnstlerischen Arbeit leite ich seit 1996<\/strong> regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Animationsworkshops<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>f\u00fcr Kinder<\/strong>, Jugendliche<\/strong> und Erwachsene<\/strong>. In meiner Trickfilm-Show<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0pr\u00e4sentiere ich meine Kurzfilme<\/a><\/strong> live<\/strong> und gebe Einblicke in den kreativen Entstehungsprozess<\/strong>. Meine interaktiven \u00a0Spinning-Animation-Shows<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0bringen historische Animationsger\u00e4te wie das Zoetrop<\/strong> zum Einsatz und verbinden k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis<\/strong> mit einem lebendigen Zugang zur Filmgeschichte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
